Life Happens – Everyday

Every day we have ups and downs. Most of the time we find ourselves focused on the downs and forget to say thank you for all we do have. I get, I get it – it’s hard to say thank you for a house you don’t really love or a car you hate to drive. But that’s just it, if you are not thankful for what you have you’ll never get any MORE than that. Yes, I said it, if you’re not thankful then you’ll stay right where you are. And where you are might not be that bad, I mean it’s better than so and so.… and that mindset too isn’t any good. Why compare yourself to anyone else? And looking at someone else’s life to feel better about yourself is NOT BEING thankful. There’s a difference in being humble and a jerk.

Alright so, all this doesn’t sound very motivating but hopefully it’s a wake up call. That it’s your choice to be stuck in the every day – hustle and bustle. YOU CHOOSE, do I want to live a LIFE I LOVE or do I want to stay content and comfortable where I am?

I sure didn’t and I didn’t want to wait until TOMORROW to start. What if TOMORROW never comes? THEN WHAT? All this time you have been waiting was for nothing. START LIVING and CHASING YOUR DREAMS TODAY.

Do you feel like you have forgotten what those dreams are? Well ask yourself these two simple questions:

  1. What do you find yourself most excited about?
  2. Is there something that you do that makes you forget time?

If you don’t know the answers, give yourself some time. Perhaps try these exercises to explore your curiosity and see where they lead. JUST BE OPEN to new possibilities. And forget about the HOW, for now, as in how will this passion or interest make you money. This will come later, first you need to rekindle your passion of what you’re meant to do in this life.
